Job Summary

Responsible for executing civil, structural, or geotechnical designs by preparing calculations and reviewing structural design drawings to meet customer specifications, applicable codes, standards, and accepted engineering practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design detailed building and civil infrastructure projects, including geotechnical, underground excavation, and tunnelling works, to meet project requirements.
  • Perform structural and infrastructure analysis and design to ensure safety and compliance with engineering standards.
  • Coordinate project submissions and approvals with local authorities and manage technical liaison during construction stages.
  • Communicate technical information effectively with clients, consultants, and authorities to resolve design and construction issues.
  • Mentor and provide technical support to junior engineers to enhance team capability and project delivery.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Civil Engineering Degree from a reputable institution, preferably recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in structural or geotechnical design.
  • Proficient in engineering design software and analytical tools to produce accurate design outputs.
  • Knowledge of design codes such as Euro Code 2 and Euro Code 3.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
