The posting

Our client is a logistics company with a strong regional presence, and they are looking for a GL Accountant to join their finance team in Singapore.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of core accounting activities, support group reporting, and contribute to regional finance operations in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full set of accounts for Singapore entities, covering GL, AP, AR and expense approvals.
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closing.
  • Support group reporting, intercompany reconciliations and consolidation.
  • Prepare GST filings, tax schedules and statutory reports.
  • Liaise with external auditors on local and group audits.
  • Support regional accounting activities and ad hoc finance projects.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Relevant sector industry experience, multi-currency accounting exposure and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Oracle HFM or equivalent systems will be advantageous.
  • Mandarin proficiency is a plus
