The Head of Structural Design (Singapore) will serve as the technical leader for structural engineering and design activities within the Singapore business. Reporting directly to the Singapore Management Team, this individual will lead the structural design function across complex local and international projects, ensuring engineering excellence, regulatory compliance, design innovation, and successful project delivery from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structural design and engineering delivery for complex projects.
- Oversee structural analysis, design reviews, calculations, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with BCA requirements, Singapore Standards, and Eurocodes.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and fabricators.
- Provide construction-stage support and resolve technical issues.
- Lead and develop the structural engineering team.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related discipline.
- Minimum of 12 years of relevant structural design experience. Candidates with strong experience in major complex projects, international projects or design-team leadership.
- Singapore Practice: Familiarity with Singapore’s building and structural regulatory framework, including applicable Singapore Standards / SS EN Eurocodes and National Annexes. Experience with BCA structural plan submission processes, technical documentation and local design coordination.
- Software: Proficiency in at least 2–3 of SAP2000, ETABS, 3D3S, Dlubal and IDEA StatiCa, together with strong AutoCAD skills. Experience with Rhino/Grasshopper, Revit, and/or Tekla is an advantage.
- Leadership & Coordination: Demonstrated ability in design management, technical review, team mentoring, design-subcontractor management and multidisciplinary coordination, with the ability to drive technical issues to resolution across clients, architects, consultants, contractors/fabricators and internal teams.
- Construction Support: Experience in site technical support, design changes, technical clarifications, construction/fabrication coordination and design optimisation.
- Personal Attributes: Strong technical judgement, clear communication and ability to resolve complex engineering issues independently; comfortable working in a multicultural team and Singapore project environment.
