The posting
The Head of EPC holds full accountability for the engineering, procurement and construction function, directing the complete project lifecycle - from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover to operations - across both the renewable energy and data centre portfolios. This role is responsible for driving technical excellence, ensuring timely delivery, managing budgets, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Leadership
- Define and execute the EPC strategy for the company across renewable energy and digital infrastructure
- Drive alignment of EPC delivery with corporate objectives, project pipeline, and market opportunities
- Build, mentor, and retain a high-performing team
Project Management
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of EPC projects from feasibility to commissioning
- Ensure projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards
- Develop and implement project controls, risk assessments, and mitigation plans
- Ensure timely reporting and documentation in Anaplan and SharePoint
Engineering & Technical Excellence
- Collaborate with Technical Services team on key technical designs
- Review engineering designs, specifications, and construction methodologies
- Introduce innovative technologies and best practices to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Procurement & Contracts
- Collaborate with Procurement and Legal team on vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management for EPC works
- Establish strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers
- Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure EPC alignment with commercial objectives
- Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external partners to ensure approvals and permits
HSSE
- Ensure all EPC and subcontractor teams follow HSSE policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 10 years of EPC experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale renewable energy projects and/or data centre infrastructure
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment
