HR Executive / HR Generalist (HRBP)
We are seeking an HR Executive / HR Generalist with HR Business Partner (HRBP) responsibilities to support and partner closely with various departments. The role drives HR operational excellence across the organisation and aligns people strategies with business needs. It plays a key part in strengthening HR processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
1. HR Business Partnering (HRBP)
- Act as the main HR point of contact for assigned departments and outlets, understanding their business needs and people challenges
- Partner with department heads on workforce planning, manpower forecasting and organisational structure
- Advise managers on people matters such as performance issues, disciplinary actions, team dynamics and staff development
- Drive the performance management cycle, including goal setting, mid-year and year-end reviews, and performance improvement plans
- Support talent management initiatives such as succession planning, career progression and retention of key talent
- Identify training and development needs, and coordinate learning programmes with relevant departments
- Track and analyse HR data (e.g. turnover, absenteeism, headcount, hiring timelines) and share insights and recommendations with management
- Plan and drive employee engagement initiatives, and follow up on feedback from engagement surveys and exit interviews
- Support change management and communication for organisational changes, new policies and HR initiatives
2. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes (e.g. contracts, letter of appointment, new staff orientation, exit clearance)
- Prepare HR documentation such as confirmation letters, resignation acceptance, and other employment-related letters
- Maintain and key in proper employee records and documentation
3. Employee Relations
- Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, compensation, and benefits
- Handle employee relations matters, including investigation and resolution of issues in a fair and professional manner
4. Recruitment & Talent Support
- Post job advertisements across job portals
- Screen candidates, shortlist, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
- Support hiring managers in recruitment processes
5. HR Policies & Compliance
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and SOPs
- Ensure HR practices and documentation are compliant with statutory requirements and company standards
- Prepare and submit surveys required by government statutory boards
6. Stakeholder Management
- Build strong working relationships with outlet teams, operations, and internal stakeholders
- Provide proactive HR advisory support to department heads and line managers
7. Payroll & Compensation
- Manage and support end-to-end payroll administration
- Analyse compensation benchmarks and surveys to support salary proposals and budgeting
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll processing
8. HR Projects
- Participate in HR initiatives, projects, and programmes as assigned
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in full-spectrum HR or HRBP functions
- Good business acumen and ability to translate business needs into HR solutions
- Ability to analyse HR data and present insights to management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good writing and documentation skills
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to multitask
- Positive attitude with a proactive and "can-do" mindset
- Results-driven and able to work independently
- Tech-savvy and adaptable to HR systems
