About the role

As an Interior Designer, you will recommend and deliver exceptional and functional spaces based on our clients' brief. You will have to plan and manage the project timeline, works and material supply to be on time and on target. You will have the opportunity to grow with the company, shape the company's direction, and command commission or company stakes that commensurate with your contributions.

What you'll be doing

· Collaborating with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences

· Conducting site surveys and measurements to gather necessary information

· Producing detailed design concepts, mood boards, and 3D visualisations to bring clients’ visions to life

· Selecting and sourcing appropriate materials, furnishings, and decor elements

· Planning project timeline and work-in-progress updates for various stakeholders.

· Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution for on-time and on-budget delivery.

· Overseeing the installation and implementation of the final design

· Providing post-completion support and addressing any client queries or concerns

· You could develop yourown sales pipeline by bringing in leads and converting them to customers.

What we're looking for

· A degree, diploma or background in Interior Design or a related field

· At least 2 years of practical experience in a relevant industry

· Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite and/or Coohom.

· Excellent understanding of design principles, spatial planning, and material selection

· Able to translate client requirements into innovative, functional, and visually appealing designs

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a team environment

· Able to commence work within a short notice period
