Job Summary
The IT Executive (End User Support & Digital Services) provides frontline technology support to staff, ensuring the smooth operation of digital learning and workplace technologies across the school. This role supports end users, classroom technologies, devices, Microsoft 365 services, and vendor-managed IT systems to maintain a reliable and secure digital environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist users with classroom technologies, including screen sharing, interactive displays, audiovisual systems, and meeting room equipment.
- Provide prompt and professional technical support to staff and users, troubleshooting hardware, connectivity, and device-related issues.
- Support the setup, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of NEW or ROTATED laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Support Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) users by assisting with device connectivity, access, and basic troubleshooting.
- Monitor the school's Microsoft 365 environment and escalate issues where necessary to ensure service availability.
- Monitor network and wireless connectivity issues, coordinating with external vendors for timely resolution of incidents.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT equipment, software, network services, printers, mobile devices, and maintenance support.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, user requests, support activities, and equipment inventories.
- Assist in implementing IT security practices, device updates, and software installations to support a secure computing environment.
- Prioritize and manage support requests effectively while maintaining a high level of customer service.
