Responsibilities
Data Compliance
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to establish practical and effective data governance and compliance processes.
- Support management in developing and implementing new data governance and compliance initiatives.
- Engage relevant stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of new policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Provide guidance to company’s staff on data governance, research, and compliance-related matters.
- Review and assess company’s research and non-research requests to ensure compliance with applicable to company’s policies and requirements.
User Access Governance
- Assist in establishing and reviewing IT procedures to ensure appropriate controls are in place and aligned with the organisation’s IT governance framework.
- Support the implementation of user access policies and procedures through effective stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate periodic reviews and updates of the organisation-wide System Role-Based Access Matrix.
- Support the resolution and processing of ID and user access requests relating to clinical applications and research projects.
IT Audit Management
- Assist in developing risk-based IT audit workplans and defining audit scopes in consultation with the department.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure audit activities address significant organisational risks and are completed within the required timelines.
- Monitor and follow up on management action plans arising from identified control gaps and audit findings.
- Coordinate with the departments Office to prepare and provide IT audit artefacts, evidence, and supporting documentation requested by auditors.
- Support ad hoc projects, including investigations, policy and procedure reviews, and training initiatives.
IT Systems Support
- Engage relevant stakeholders to support system troubleshooting, feedback management, and requirements gathering.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate the timely resolution of system issues and service requests.
- Monitor system-related issues, track follow-up actions, and escalate matters where necessary.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT), system enhancement reviews, and validation of system changes where applicable.
- Maintain relevant documentation, user guides, and support records to facilitate effective system support and knowledge sharing.
- Provide IT systems support outside normal office hours, including weekends, when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1–2 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in IT management, healthcare, business analysis, audit, or compliance will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, tracking, and monitoring purposes.
- Meticulous, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong logical thinking and process flow skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and timelines, and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to provide after-office-hours and weekend support when required.
