The posting

This position leads and manages IT infrastructure operations across different sites, ensuring stable, secure and reliable infrastructure services that support manufacturing and business operations. As the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for service continuity, site infrastructure projects, enforcement of Corporate IT standards, cybersecurity and compliance, and vendor and stakeholder management, within approved policies, budgets and governance guidelines. You will also lead the infrastructure team and make operational decisions that have a significant impact on site performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee IT infrastructure operations across different sites, including network, server, data centre, endpoint and communication systems, to ensure stable and reliable services for manufacturing operations and timely incident resolution (target system uptime of 99.85% or higher).
  • Lead site implementation of infrastructure projects driven by Corporate IT, such as network refresh, server migration, endpoint control, patch management, disaster recovery readiness and cybersecurity initiatives, delivering them on schedule with minimal disruption to production.
  • Support and enforce cybersecurity controls, infrastructure hardening, patch compliance, endpoint protection, access control, audit readiness, ISO 27001 requirements and IT governance processes across different sites.
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, auditors, production teams and Corporate IT on infrastructure support, maintenance, contract renewals, incident escalation and project execution, and manage vendor SLA performance.
  • Act as the key point of communication during critical incidents and major projects, explaining technical risks, business impact and required actions to site management, production users, Corporate IT and vendors, and aligning priorities without compromising production continuity or compliance.
  • Lead the infrastructure team: assign priorities, monitor performance, maintain operational documentation, enforce the Service Desk Request (SDR) process, and ensure proper handover, SOP compliance and knowledge retention.
  • Take responsibility for, and play an active role in, workplace safety and health in line with the Workplace Safety & Health Act and all EHS policies and procedures.
  • Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Company as and when required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • At least 8 years of experience managing and configuring enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, firewalls and routing/switching.
  • Proven experience leading an infrastructure team and meeting service level agreements for service and application delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft Exchange / Microsoft 365, core switching and routing, SSL/IPSec, SAN and virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Solid experience in IT service management, including incident management, change control, backup, disaster recovery and business continuity.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware such as servers, routers, switches, modems and network interface cards.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity controls, endpoint protection, patch management, access control and infrastructure hardening.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under operational pressure.

Preferred / Additional

  • Experience supporting IT infrastructure in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with ISO 27001 compliance and IT audit readiness.
  • Experience interpreting the applicability of relevant laws and regulations, including data privacy laws (e.g. PDPA), to company operations.
  • Knowledge of system flow charts, data processing concepts and telecommunications principles.
  • Some knowledge of simple programming languages such as .NET or HTML.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
