The posting

We are seeking an IT Support Engineer with 1 to 4 years of experience to provide first-line (L1) technical support for IT systems, infrastructure, and end users during a fixed night shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting application, hardware, network, and manufacturing system issues while ensuring smooth IT operations across the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide L1 support for applications, systems, and end users, ensuring timely issue resolution or escalation.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for hardware, software, printer, and system-related incidents.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting for infrastructure and network issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, applications, and end-user devices.
  • Monitor and support manufacturing systems such as MES and WMS.
  • Execute routine IT operational, security, and audit activities during the shift.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, asset records, and incident logs.

About you

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in IT Helpdesk, Application Support, or End-User Support.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, networking, security concepts, and SQL queries.
  • Experience supporting MES, WMS, or manufacturing systems is an advantage.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to work independently.
  • Able to commit to a permanent night shift (Monday to Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM).
  • Exposure to Cisco technologies, system administration, or enterprise applications.
