You will work closely with our existing Network & Hardware Engineer and the MIS Manager, supporting CADIT users and systems globally. The role is designed for someone who wants to build a strong career in IT infrastructure and systems administration.

We are looking for someone who is curious, methodical, hands-on, willing to learn and genuinely interested in infrastructure. Training and certification support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Microsoft 365 & Identity Administration

  • Administer Microsoft 365 users, licences, groups, shared mailboxes and permissions.
  • Support Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive and Microsoft Teams.
  • Manage user joiner, mover and leaver processes.
  • Support Microsoft Entra ID, MFA, account access and password/lockout issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of tenant and access changes.

Endpoint & IT Support

  • Build, configure, deploy and maintain Windows PCs and laptops.
  • Install and maintain operating systems, applications, drivers, firmware and licensed software.
  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, operating system, connectivity, printing and access issues.
  • Maintain endpoint protection and security coverage using Bitdefender GravityZone.
  • Monitor and respond to endpoint security alerts and escalate potential incidents appropriately.

Systems & Infrastructure Operations

  • Support the company's office server room and co-located data-centre rack.
  • Assist with server installation, configuration, firmware, RAID, operating systems and monitoring.
  • Perform hardware replacement including disks, power supplies, memory and fans.
  • Maintain rack equipment, cabling, labelling, UPS systems and physical infrastructure.
  • Coordinate data-centre access, remote hands and scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Maintain proper change records and infrastructure documentation.

Network &Infrastructure Support

  • Work alongside the Network & Hardware Engineer to learn and support:
  • Firewalls
  • VLANs
  • Switches
  • Wireless networks
  • IP addressing
  • DNS and DHCP
  • VPN connectivity
  • Handle routine network troubleshooting and changes under appropriate supervision.
  • Progressively develop the capability to provide infrastructure cover when the incumbent engineer is unavailable.
  • Support networking requirements for CAD-IT's IoT and project deployments where required.

Backup, Patching & Monitoring

  • Monitor backup jobs and investigate failures.
  • Perform and document periodic restore tests.
  • Support operating system and firmware patching activities.
  • Monitor infrastructure alerts and system health.
  • Maintain records for backup, recovery and business continuity procedures.

SaaS & Platform Administration

  • Administer CAD-IT's internal monday.com account, including users, licenses, permissions, workspaces and boards.
  • Support administration of other business SaaS platforms managed by MIS.
  • Maintain accurate user access and license records.
  • Identify opportunities to improve platform governance and operational efficiency.

Documentation & Asset Management

  • Maintain hardware and software asset registers.
  • Track licenses, warranties and equipment ownership.
  • Maintain network diagrams, rack layouts, cable schedules and technical documentation.
  • Create and maintain practical runbooks and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure infrastructure changes are properly documented.

Global IT Support

  • Provide remote IT support to CAD-IT users and offices outside Singapore.
  • Communicate clearly with users across different time zones.
  • Explain technical issues in simple, non-technical language.
  • Maintain clear ticket updates and follow through until issues are resolved.

Continuous Learning & Development

  • Develop your skills across systems administration, networking, infrastructure and security.
  • Complete relevant training and certifications supported by the company.
  • Work towards Microsoft, CompTIA and other relevant infrastructure certifications.
  • Develop sufficient cross-functional knowledge to provide infrastructure coverage and support.

Requirements:

Must Have

  • Post-secondary qualifications in IT, Information Technology, Infocom Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics or a related discipline.
  • Candidates with ITE Higher Nitec, Polytechnic Diploma or Degree are welcome to apply.
  • Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications.
  • Basic working knowledge of Windows operating systems and an understanding of Windows Server.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts including:
  • IP addressing and subnets
  • DNS
  • DHCP
  • VLANs
  • Switches
  • Firewalls
  • Comfortable working with physical IT hardware, including PCs, servers, cabling and rack equipment.

  • Good spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate with users across different countries.
  • Strong attention to detail and a responsible approach to IT security and access management.
  • Willingness to participate in an emergency contact/on-call roster and occasional planned evening or weekend maintenance activities.
  • Genuine interest in IT infrastructure and systems administration.

Exposure to any of the following would be advantageous:

  • Microsoft 365 administration
  • Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
  • Microsoft Intune
  • Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive or Teams
  • Endpoint security platforms such as Bitdefender, Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike or Sophos
  • Business SaaS administration such as monday.com, Google Workspace or Atlassian

  • Veeam or other backup platforms
  • PowerShell or basic scripting
  • ITSM / ticketing systems
  • Structured cabling, server racks, UPS or data-centre operations
  • Industrial, edge or IoT networking
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA or Microsoft certifications, including certifications currently in progress.

We are particularly interested in candidates who demonstrate:

  • Hands-on curiosity: You enjoy building, fixing and understanding how things work.
  • Methodical thinking: You troubleshoot logically rather than randomly changing things.
  • Attention to detail: You understand that small mistakes in infrastructure can have big consequences.
  • Ownership: You follow an issue through to resolution rather than simply passing it on.
  • Documentation discipline: You understand that good IT work should be repeatable and understandable by others.
  • Security awareness: You take access, credentials and endpoint protection seriously.
  • Service mindset: You understand that when someone's laptop or access is down, their work is blocked.
  • Willingness to learn: You are excited to grow from IT support into systems and infrastructure engineering.

  • Microsoft 365 and identity administration

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
