Job Summary

Join our well-established boutique accounting and corporate services firm as a Junior Accounts Executive, gaining hands-on experience managing diverse client accounts and developing practical client-handling skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full sets of accounts for diverse clients to ensure accurate financial records
  • Provide on-site accounting support by working at clients’ offices when required to maintain their accounting records
  • Perform bank reconciliations to verify and maintain accurate accounting data
  • Prepare GST returns in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist with simple tax computations and related tax matters to support client needs
  • Liaise with clients to collect accounting information and supporting documents for accurate record-keeping
  • Follow up with clients on outstanding accounting matters to ensure timely resolution
  • Support other accounting and tax assignments as needed to contribute to team objectives
  • Communicate effectively with clients to facilitate smooth accounting processes
  • Work independently to meet deadlines and deliver quality work consistently
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn to enhance professional growth
  • Travel to clients’ offices when required to provide flexible and responsive service

Required competencies and certifications

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Diploma in Accounting, LCCI, or equivalent qualification
  • Proficient in handling full sets of accounts using QuickBooks Online
  • Familiarity with preparing financial statements and basic tax computations
  • Good understanding of accounting and GST principles
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Comfortable communicating and working directly with clients
