Experience:Preferably 6+ years overall with strong recent Kubernetes/SRE experience

Role Overview:

Weare looking for experienced Kubernetes & Site Reliability Engineers tosupport highly scalable, business-critical production platforms for a globaltechnology customer in Singapore.

Therole requires strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Linux, productionreliability, automation, observability, incident management and troubleshootingof distributed systems.

Candidatesshould be comfortable operating large-scale production environments whereavailability, performance, automation and operational excellence are critical.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate,maintain and troubleshoot large-scale Kubernetes-based production environments.

Ensurereliability, scalability, availability and performance of critical services.

Investigatecomplex production issues and perform detailed root-cause analysis.

Participatein incident response and drive permanent corrective actions.

Automaterepetitive operational activities and improve platform reliability.

Buildand improve monitoring, alerting, logging and observability frameworks.

Defineand track SLIs, SLOs and operational reliability metrics.

SupportKubernetes upgrades, configuration changes, patching and platform improvements.

Workclosely with application engineering, infrastructure, platform, security andDevOps teams.

Performcapacity planning, performance tuning and reliability improvements.

Developand maintain operational runbooks, automation scripts and troubleshootingdocumentation.

Participatein production readiness reviews and ensure applications meet operationalstandards.

Mandatory Skills:

Stronghands-on experience with Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting.

Strongunderstanding of Kubernetes architecture, including:

Pods

Deployments

StatefulSets

Services

Ingress

ConfigMaps/ Secrets

RBAC

Storage

Networking

StrongLinux systems administration and troubleshooting skills.

Goodunderstanding of networking concepts such as DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing andservice connectivity.

Strongunderstanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles.

Experiencesupporting large-scale, high-availability production systems.

Strongincident management and RCA experience.

Hands-onscripting/automation experience using Python, Bash/Shell or similar.

Experiencewith monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk,ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog or equivalent.

Experienceworking with CI/CD and automated deployment environments.

Strongdebugging and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

Infrastructure-as-Codeexperience using Terraform, Ansible or equivalent.

Helmor similar Kubernetes package/deployment management tools.

GitOpsexperience using tools such as Argo CD or Flux.

Knowledgeof service mesh concepts.

Experiencewith container security and Kubernetes security practices.

Experiencewith cloud or private-cloud infrastructure.

Familiaritywith distributed systems and microservices architectures.

Exposureto performance engineering and capacity management.

Experienceworking in globally distributed engineering environments.

Candidate Expectations:

Weshould especially look for candidates who can demonstrate:

Stronghands-on troubleshooting rather than only DevOps coordination.

Experiencemanaging real production outages.

Abilityto explain Kubernetes problems at infrastructure, networking and applicationlevels.

Strongautomation mindset.

Abilityto work independently in high-pressure production environments.

Excellentcommunication and collaboration skills.
