Job Descriptions
- Review, draft and negotiate commercial and procurement agreements, including service agreements, MOUs, NDAs, variations and data-sharing agreements, identifying risks and recommending practical mitigation measures.
- Provide legal advisory support through legal and regulatory research, preparation of legal notes and stakeholder communications, and escalation of novel or high-risk matters where required.
- Support procurement and contract management activities, including tenders, contract variations, extensions, novation and terminations, as well as end-to-end administration of panel law firm tender exercises.
- Manage legal operations, including matter and deadline tracking, document repositories, templates and version control, stakeholder coordination, action follow-ups and periodic reporting.
Requirements:
- Possess a recognised law degree from a Commonwealth jurisdiction.
- Minimum one year of post qualification experience involving data protection, data-sharing arrangements, intellectual property or technology-related contracting.
- Relevant legal qualifications with experience in commercial contracts, contract review, drafting and negotiation.
- Good understanding of procurement processes, tender administration and contract management; public-sector procurement exposure would be advantageous.
- Strong legal research, analytical and risk-assessment skills, with the ability to provide clear and practical recommendations.
- Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities, including matter tracking, document management, record keeping and preparation of reports or approval papers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across Legal, Procurement, Finance, business stakeholders and external counterparties.
