Job Description
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments as well as local transport.
- Prepare and process logistics documentation, including delivery orders, invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update system transactions promptly.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, transport providers, suppliers, and customers regarding shipment schedules and delivery statuses.
- Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Support warehouse operations, including stock receiving, stock issuance, and stock reconciliation.
- Assist in periodic stock counts and regular inventory audits.
- Maintain organized logistics records and systematic filing systems in compliance with internal procedures.
- Generate and prepare weekly and monthly logistics reports as required.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries concerning deliveries and logistics matters.
- Ensure strict compliance with corporate policies, workplace safety protocols, and standard logistics regulations.
- Process supplier invoices, cross-checking discrepancies against purchase orders and receipts.
- Create, issue, and receive purchase orders (POs) for suppliers.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the logistics team and handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess a Diploma or Higher NITEC in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in logistics coordination, warehousing, or supply chain administration (fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply).
- Knowledge of import/export shipping documentation (delivery orders, bills of lading, packing lists) and local transport coordination.
- Familiarity with warehouse receiving, issuing, stock count, and inventory control processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP systems (hands-on SAP experience is an advantage).
- High attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with vendors, freight forwarders, and cross-functional teams.
- Able to multitask, work independently, and meet delivery deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
