The posting

  • Position: Logistics Assistant (Tank Operations / Shipping)
  • Location: Cantonment Road, near Outram Park MRT
  • Working Hours: 5-day work week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
  • Salary: Basic salary up to $3,500 + up to 14 days annual leave, commensurate with experience
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Industry: Shipping / Freight / Logistics

Main Responsibilities

  • with agents and depots on tank details, schedules and movement updates.
  • Track tank leasing status, including on-hire, off-hire and detention matters.
  • Coordinate with vendors on tank movements and repositioning units.
  • Clarify detention billing matters with agents.
  • Maintain accurate shipment, tank movement and billing records.
  • Support daily logistics and shipping coordination duties.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the department head.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Shipping or related discipline.
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided.
  • Candidates with 1–2 years of logistics, shipping or freight experience will be advantageous.
  • Good coordination, communication and follow-up skills.
  • Organised, detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
  • Able to liaise effectively with agents, depots, vendors and internal teams.
