Role Summary
The Logistics Specialist isresponsible for overseeing the efficient management of goods receipt, internaldistribution, outbound shipments, and maintaining precise inventory records.This role ensures compliance with company policies and safety standards in allstore operations and works closely with both internal and external stakeholdersto support store and logistics activities.
A. Job responsibilities
· Goods Receiving &Issuance: Manage the receipt of incoming goods and spare parts, and issue theminternally to the workshop for repair activities.
· Shipping Management: Organize and executeshipments to customers, ensuring proper coordination with external forwarders.
· Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate internallywith the sales department and workshop, and externally with logistics partners.
· Documentation: Handle, sort, andarchive all documents and records related to store activities meticulously.
· Safety &Compliance: Adhere to workplace safety standards (e.g., ensure use of PPE, followprocedures) and report any discrepancies or non-conformity to the store leaderor supply chain manager.
· Project Participation: Take part in theimplementation of projects, ad-hoc requirements, or investigations relevant tostore activities.
· HSE Compliance: Strictly followHealth, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and company policies;participate in HSE programs, initiatives, and risk mitigation activities.
· Officer Role: Assume appointed HSEroles as required by Safran and regulatory guidelines.
· Other Duties: Perform any othertasks as assigned.
B. Qualifications & Experience
· Minimum “O” level with 3 years experiences instore inventory control and shipping
· Well-versed in inventory computerized systems,preferably SAP B1
· Good keyboard and typing skills
· Good communication skills in English
· A team player
· CAAS paper of L11 or L12 will be an addedadvantage
· Preferably with knowledge of the aviationindustry
C. Key Skills
Technical Skills
o Knowledge of aviation regulations and safety standards
o Handling and shipping hazardous/dangerous goods (e.g.,IATA rules)
o Experience with inventory software, SAP B1
o Keeping track of parts and proper documentation
o Familiarity with customs and export/import paperwork
o Conducting regular inventory checks and audits
