Job Description:
- Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operating conventional machines, performing precision fitting and finishing.
- Ensure that moulds meet required dimensional, functional, and quality standards.
- Check dimensions and tolerances using equipment, vernier caliper, micrometer, height gaug and etc.
- Read and interpret engineering drawing, mould designs, specifications and technical documentation.
- Perform precision machining, fitting, grinding, polishing, drilling, tapping, and bench work.
- To carry out mould repairs, modifications, refurbishment, and preventive maintenance.
- To ensure mould components are correctly fitted, aligned, and finished to the required standards.
- Identify worn or damaged components and recommend replacement or corrective action.
- Report faulty equipment, damages, and safety concerns to Supervisor immediately.
- Observes all company policies and procedures, including safety rules, and maintains 5S workplace standards and orderly work area.
Job Requirements:
- Nitec or Diploma in Precision Engineering or related discipline. Relevant working experience in mould making, toolmaking, or precision machining.
- Bilingual in both spoken and written form.
- Basic computer literacy.
