Job Summary

Support Management in corporate projects and investee company operations to drive sustainable growth, improve financial outcomes, and implement effective business strategies. Develop skills to advance toward a managerial role within a dynamic investment group.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Management in identifying corporate challenges and developing effective solutions to achieve business objectives.
  • Plan, coordinate, document, and track meetings to ensure deliverables are met on time.
  • Support Accounting, Business Management, Chartered Secretary, Law, Human Resource, Reporting, Finance, Fund Raising, and Cashflow Management to meet operational and regulatory requirements and promote profitability and growth.
  • Improve business processes and SOPs to enhance efficiency and financial performance.
  • Assist investees in developing and implementing Strategic Business Plans.
  • Perform financial analysis of assigned investee portfolio segments, monitor performance, identify buy/sell opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct market studies and competitor analyses for assigned investees.
  • Research specific industries to identify investment opportunities and advise Management accordingly.
  • Support Due Diligence, Financial Analysis, and Valuations for potential M&A opportunities.
  • Coordinate and facilitate activities across teams and projects.
  • Identify and analyze ongoing HR needs of assigned investees.
  • Assist in HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, promotions, terminations, performance evaluations, and policy implementation.
  • Prepare reports to monitor project progress, profitability, and performance against goals.
  • Develop personal networks to enhance resourcefulness and team contribution.
  • Present weekly progress reports to Management.

Required competencies and certifications

  • Fluency in English and conversational Mandarin to effectively communicate with stakeholders and support business operations.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Degree in Science, Law, Accountancy, Chartered Secretary, Human Resource, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, AI, or related fields.
  • Relevant business exposure and experience preferred.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with initiative and sensitivity in managing interactions with various individuals.
  • Critical thinker with resourcefulness and passion for creating and implementing solutions.
  • Naturally curious, articulate, bold, persevering, and versatile.
