Job Summary

The Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily business activities, managing staff, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring that assigned business functions operate efficiently and effectively.

The role involves planning and organising work activities, implementing company policies and procedures, coordinating with different departments, managing resources, and supporting management in achieving the organisation's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate daily business operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Plan, organise, and manage work activities, resources, and staff to meet operational requirements.
  • Supervise employees, assign duties, monitor performance, and provide guidance where necessary.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures, work plans, and process improvements.
  • Monitor departmental performance and ensure that operational targets and deadlines are achieved.
  • Prepare operational reports, management updates, and other documentation as required.
  • Manage departmental budgets, expenditure, and resource allocation within approved limits.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to support business operations.
  • Identify operational issues, assess risks, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Assist in developing business plans, policies, and strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety requirements, and applicable Singapore laws and regulations.
  • Support recruitment, staff training, performance reviews, and employee development.
  • Handle administrative and operational matters and escalate significant issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Perform other management-related duties as assigned by the company.

Job Requirements

  • Good organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to supervise employees and coordinate multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
