About Asia Climate Philanthropy Advisory

The Asia Climate Philanthropy Advisory (ACPA) is headquartered in Singapore and supported by several leading philanthropists and climate foundations. ACPA is mandated to support ultra-high-net-worth individuals to make philanthropic investments into the climate action space by providing bespoke advisory support, curated local climate knowledge, carefully vetted giving opportunities, and access to a diverse network of climate-focused experts, peers and partners.

About the Role

We seek a seasoned, outstanding individual to join as its Manager, Marketing & Communications and lead the implementation of ACPA’s communications roadmap, including content strategy, digital engagement, events planning, and media outreach. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who combines strategic thinking with strong execution, creative flair, and excellent project management skills.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Manager will help position ACPA as a trusted, visible, and credible partner in the Asian philanthropy ecosystem — translating complex ideas into compelling narratives that inspire giving and collaboration on climate action.

Responsibilities

The Manager, Marketing & Communications will engage in the following areas of responsibility.

  • Support the implementation of ACPA’s brand strategy, messaging framework, and tone of voice across all channels.
  • Work with external agencies to produce brand and communications assets (e.g., templates, decks, infographics, case studies).
  • Develop and manage ACPA’s editorial calendar and content pipeline across website, LinkedIn, and other platforms as required.
  • Research, copywrite, and edit high-quality content such as articles, donor stories, partner spotlights, and thought leadership pieces.
  • Oversee website updates and work with designers and developers to enhance user experience and impact storytelling.
  • Support media engagement, including drafting press releases, managing media lists, and coordinating interviews and coverage.
  • Cultivate relationships with key communications and ecosystem partners to amplify ACPA’s visibility.
  • Track and evaluate media performance and engagement metrics.
  • Develop communications plans and promotional materials for ACPA convenings, briefings, and flagship gatherings.
  • Create on-site and post-event content, including talking points, recaps, and visual assets.
  • Support the production of POS and knowledge materials
  • Support communications with donor clients as needed by the Climate and Philanthropy teams
  • Manage external vendors and freelancers (writers, designers, photographers) to ensure timely delivery of outputs.
  • Track communications KPIs, maintain documentation and asset libraries, and contribute to reporting and evaluation.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 10-12 years of experience and track record in communications – ideally with non-profit/non-governmental organizations.
  • Proven experience developing and executing communication and brand strategies.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in writing, editing and storytelling. Proficiency in other Asian languages is advantageous.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a strong grasp of tone and audience adaptation.
  • Experience managing social media channels and content calendars.
  • Strong project management skills and comfort working with external vendors and cross-functional teams.
  • While not mandatory, a genuine interest in climate change and social impact, and ability to quickly grasp related concepts are desirable.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a small, dynamic and collaborative team.
  • Excellent event, project management and coordination abilities.
  • Track record of working in environments requiring professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Resourceful problem-solving skills with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude towards challenges and changes.
  • Alignment with ACPA’s mission and commitment to embodying ACPA values.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or related field.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
