The posting
- Manage end-to-end trade finance activities, including Letters of Credit (LC), documentary collections, bank guarantees and related banking transactions.
- Prepare, review and process import/export and shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with LC terms and banking requirements.
- Liaise with banks, customers, suppliers, shipping agents and internal teams to coordinate trade documentation, payments and resolve discrepancies.
- Monitor trade transactions, payment schedules and outstanding documents, ensuring timely processing and supporting cash flow management.
- Maintain proper records and support reconciliation, reporting, audit requirements and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Finance, Banking, Accountancy, Business, Economics or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of trade finance experience within the Shipping, Bunkering, commodities trading or Maritime Industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; exposure to ERP or financial systems.
- Good knowledge of trade finance processes, documentation requirements, banking practices, and compliance standards.
- Strong attention to detail with good communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
