Job Summary

You will manage repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of onboard machinery, including engines and generators, ensuring operational reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repair and maintenance tasks on machinery onboard to ensure continuous operation
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues in engines and generators to minimize downtime
  • Apply mechanical fitment skills to install and adjust equipment accurately
  • Diagnose and resolve hydraulic and pneumatic system faults to maintain system functionality

Required competencies and certifications

  • Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in mechanical fitment, basic gas and TIG welding, and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems
