Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis on global financial markets, industries, economic trends, and investment opportunities.
  • Collect, process, and analyze financial, economic, industry, and alternative datasets to support investment research and decision-making.
  • Conduct research on equities, fixed income, funds, private markets, and other asset classes as required.
  • Monitor macroeconomic developments, market movements, industry trends, and geopolitical events that may affect investment performance.
  • Analyze company fundamentals, industry performance, market valuations, and relevant financial indicators.
  • Develop analytical reports, data visualizations, dashboards, and presentations to communicate research findings to management and investment teams.
  • Apply statistical analysis, data analytics, and quantitative research techniques to identify market trends, patterns, and potential investment opportunities.
  • Use programming and data analysis tools to automate data collection, improve research processes, and enhance analytical efficiency.
  • Support portfolio monitoring by tracking market performance, asset allocation, investment exposures, and relevant risk indicators.
  • Maintain accurate research databases and ensure the reliability, consistency, and confidentiality of investment-related information.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related quantitative field.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment analysis, economics, or financial data analytics is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret English- and Chinese-language financial news, research reports, company announcements, and market information.
  • Ability to prepare research summaries, reports, and presentations in English and communicate relevant findings in Chinese where required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with international stakeholders and business contacts across global markets.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial and investment information responsibly.
