The posting

We are seeking a responsible, hardworking and customer-oriented Market Seller to support our daily trading and sales operations at various markets across Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell and promote a variety of general merchandise and goods at pasar (markets) and designated selling locations islandwide.
  • Arrange and display merchandise neatly for sale.
  • Attend to customers, provide product information and assist with sales enquiries.
  • Handle customer transactions, collect payments and maintain accurate daily sales records.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with receiving, sorting, packing and replenishment of goods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper organisation of the selling area.
  • Assist with daily sales operations, stocktaking and other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in market sales, retail sales or general merchandise trading is an advantage.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Able to handle merchandise and perform daily sales activities.
  • Responsible, honest and willing to work independently.
  • Willing to travel to different market locations across Singapore.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, where required.
