Position:Marketing Communications Executive

Department: Marketing / BusinessDevelopment Reports To: Business Development Director / Principal Employment Type: Full-Time

1. JobPurpose

The Marketing Communications Executive isresponsible for supporting the planning and execution of the Institute’smarketing and communications activities to strengthen brand awareness, promoteits programmes and services, and support student recruitment objectives.

The role manages marketing content andcommunication channels, including the Institute’s website, social mediaplatforms, digital campaigns, marketing collateral, events and otherpromotional activities.

As the Institute operates as a PrivateEducation Institution (PEI) in Singapore, the Executive is also responsible forensuring that published marketing information is accurate, current andconsistent with approved institutional and course information, and complieswith applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.

2. KeyResponsibilities

A. Marketing Communications & BrandManagement

  • Support the development and implementation of the Institute’s marketing and communications plans.
  • Develop marketing content that communicates the Institute’s programmes, strengths, facilities, student experience and progression opportunities.
  • Maintain consistent branding, messaging, tone and visual identity across marketing channels.
  • Prepare and update brochures, flyers, posters, presentations, advertisements, banners and other marketing collateral.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure that information communicated externally is accurate and up to date.
  • Maintain organised records of approved marketing materials, artwork and communication assets.

B. Digital Marketing & Social Media

  • Manage and regularly update the Institute’s social media platforms and other digital communication channels.
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar for social media and digital campaigns.
  • Create and publish engaging content, including graphics, photographs, short-form videos, programme highlights, student activities and institutional updates.
  • Support paid digital advertising campaigns, including campaign setup, content preparation and performance monitoring.
  • Monitor engagement, enquiries, reach, traffic and other relevant digital marketing indicators.
  • Recommend improvements to digital campaigns based on performance data and audience response.
  • Monitor online comments, messages and enquiries and coordinate appropriate responses or escalation.

C. Website & Online Content

  • Maintain and update marketing-related content on the Institute’s website.
  • Ensure information relating to programmes, intakes, fees, entry requirements, facilities and institutional information is presented accurately based on approved information.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments or vendors for website updates and improvements.
  • Review website content periodically to identify outdated, inaccurate or inconsistent information.
  • Support search engine optimisation (SEO) and other initiatives to improve the Institute’s online visibility.

D. Marketing Content & Creative Production

  • Produce written and visual content for marketing campaigns and institutional communications.
  • Coordinate photography, videography and design work for school activities, events and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop content featuring student activities, achievements, campus life, academic programmes and institutional developments.
  • Liaise with external designers, printers, photographers, media agencies and other marketing vendors where required.
  • Ensure appropriate consent and approval are obtained before using student photographs, videos, testimonials or personal information for marketing purposes.

E. Student Recruitment & BusinessDevelopment Support

  • Support Business Development and Student Services teams with marketing materials and communication required for student recruitment.
  • Prepare programme presentations, recruitment materials and promotional content for prospective students, parents, education agents and partners.
  • Support education fairs, roadshows, open houses, school visits, recruitment events and other promotional activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of materials for overseas and local recruitment activities.
  • Support communication campaigns for upcoming intakes, new programmes and institutional initiatives.
  • Track marketing-generated enquiries and provide relevant reports to management.

F. Events & Institutional Communications

  • Support the planning, promotion and execution of institutional events such as orientation programmes, graduation ceremonies, open houses, student activities and partner events.
  • Prepare event publicity materials, invitations, signage, presentation materials and digital communications.
  • Coordinate photography and content collection during institutional activities and events.
  • Support internal and external communications relating to significant institutional developments and activities.

G. PEI Marketing Compliance & InformationAccuracy

  • Ensure marketing and promotional materials are based on approved and current information.
  • Verify programme names, course duration, fees, entry requirements, awarding bodies, progression pathways, and other key information with relevant departments, ensuring compliance with the CPE Advertising Code for Private Education Institutions prior to publication.
  • Ensure that marketing communications do not contain misleading, unsubstantiated or unauthorised claims.
  • Ensure references to regulatory status, certifications, awards, partnerships and institutional achievements are accurately represented and appropriately approved.
  • Support periodic reviews of published marketing materials, social media content and website information for accuracy and compliance.
  • Promptly correct, withdraw or escalate marketing information identified as inaccurate, outdated or potentially misleading.
  • Maintain proper records and versions of approved marketing materials where required for internal review or regulatory purposes.
  • Observe applicable requirements relating to personal data protection, copyright, intellectual property and the use of student images and testimonials.

H. Marketing Performance & Reporting

  • Maintain records of marketing activities, campaigns, enquiries and expenditure.
  • Track agreed marketing KPIs such as reach, engagement, leads, enquiries, conversion indicators and campaign performance.
  • Prepare regular marketing reports for management.
  • Analyse the effectiveness of different marketing channels and recommend improvements.
  • Assist with the preparation and monitoring of the marketing budget.
  • Coordinate quotations, purchase requests and invoices relating to marketing activities and vendors.

3. OtherResponsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with Academic, Student Services, Business Development, Quality Assurance and other departments.
  • Participate in institutional meetings, events and improvement initiatives where required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of student, staff and institutional information.
  • Follow the Institute’s policies, procedures and quality assurance requirements.
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Principal or Management that are relevant to the position.

4. KeyPerformance Indicators

Performance may be assessed based on:

  • Timely execution of approved marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Quality and consistency of marketing content and branding.
  • Effectiveness of marketing campaigns and recruitment activities.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of website and marketing information.
  • Timely completion of marketing materials and projects.
  • Effectiveness of event and recruitment support.
  • Achieve the pre-determined number of leads specific to campaigns.
  • Achieve the pre-determined impression to leads conversion rate.
  • Achieve the pre-determined number to traffics visiting our website.
  • Achieve the pre-determined duration which an average visitor will stay on our website.
  • Achieved the pre-determined number of followers on our social platforms.

5.Requirements

Education

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Business or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Relevant experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing or content creation.
  • Experience within the education, training or private education sector would be advantageous.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and digital campaigns is preferred.
  • Budget planning for all activities.
