Job Description
We are looking for a Marketing Executive to independently manage and execute day-to-day marketing activities across the Company's brands and business activities.
The role covers digital marketing, social media, events, partnerships, marketing communications and market research. The Marketing Executive will work directly with the Director and is expected to take ownership of assigned marketing projects from planning and coordination through to execution and performance reporting.
The role requires a hands-on and organized individual who can work independently, coordinate with internal teams and external vendors, and manage multiple marketing activities with limited day-to-day supervision.
Job Responsibilities
1. Marketing Planning & Campaign Execution
- Plan and execute marketing activities in line with business objectives and direction from the Director.
- Develop campaign plans, timelines and required marketing materials.
- Coordinate campaign setup, scheduling, content placement and execution to ensure activities are delivered accurately and on time.
- Monitor campaign results and prepare reports on key performance indicators.
- Review campaign results and recommend practical improvements for future activities.
2. Digital & Social Media Marketing
- Plan and manage social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
- Maintain content calendars and coordinate content creation, publishing and scheduling.
- Plan and execute digital campaigns, including paid social media advertising where required.
- Monitor campaign performance, engagement, leads and other relevant metrics.
- Coordinate updates to website content, promotional materials and other digital channels.
- Manage EDM campaigns and customer communications where required.
3. Events & Offline Marketing
- Plan, coordinate and execute marketing activities including roadshows, travel fairs, workshops, promotions, corporate events and other relevant events.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, partners and event organizers on logistics, setup, materials and timelines.
- Source and coordinate event requirements, including marketing materials, equipment and manpower support.
- Support on-site event operations and ensure activities are delivered according to plan.
- Conduct post-event follow-up and prepare basic performance reports.
- Support weekend events or marketing activities when required.
4. KOL, Partnership & Promotional Activities
- Identify and coordinate suitable KOLs, influencers, media partners and other marketing partners.
- Coordinate collaborations, sponsorships, barter arrangements and co-marketing opportunities.
- Communicate campaign requirements, deliverables and timelines to partners.
- Coordinate content submissions and ensure materials are aligned with the Company's brand and campaign requirements.
- Monitor the performance of collaborations and maintain good working relationships with partners.
5. Marketing Content & Creative Coordination
- Prepare and coordinate marketing content, promotional materials, notices and social media assets.
- Use Canva or other basic design tools to create or amend marketing materials where required.
- Coordinate with designers, agencies and external vendors for more specialized creative work.
- Coordinate the production of printed materials such as brochures, banners, advertisements and promotional collateral.
- Ensure marketing materials are accurate, timely and consistent with the Company's brand guidelines.
6. Vendor & Budget Coordination
- Source and compare quotations for marketing activities and recommend suitable vendors.
- Coordinate with vendors on pricing, deliverables, timelines and service requirements.
- Monitor marketing expenses against approved budgets.
- Prepare or coordinate purchase requests, quotations and invoices.
- Maintain organised records of vendors, quotations, marketing materials and related documents.
- Highlight significant cost differences or discrepancies to the Director for review.
7. Market Research
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify customer trends, promotional opportunities and relevant market developments.
- Monitor competitor campaigns, promotions and social media activities.
- Research potential partnerships, marketing channels and promotional opportunities.
- Share relevant market insights and recommendations with the Director.
8. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with sales, operations and other departments to understand business needs and coordinate marketing activities.
- Coordinate with external agencies, vendors, partners and other third parties.
- Manage assigned marketing projects independently from planning through to execution and follow-up.
- Handle ad hoc marketing tasks and special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably with exposure to digital marketing, social media and events.
- Practical experience in planning and executing marketing campaigns and activities.
- Experience managing social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
- Experience coordinating vendors, quotations and marketing expenses.
- Basic knowledge of Canva or other design tools.
- Good written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Able to independently plan, priorities and execute marketing activities with limited day-to-day supervision.
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, hands-on and willing to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
- Willing to support occasional weekend events or marketing activities when required.
