Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Content Strategy & Development

  • Develop and execute content plans for corporate social media channels, ensuring timely, consistent, and engaging content delivery across platforms.
  • Create high-quality content across multiple formats, including visual and video content, tailored to platform-specific best practices and audience needs.
  • Ensure content aligns with organisational objectives, brand guidelines, and audience engagement goals.
  • Maintain a consistent content pipeline and manage multiple deliverables within tight timelines.

Social media Trends & Trend jacking

  • Monitor social media trends, cultural moments, and current affairs to identify relevant opportunities for trend jacking.
  • Develop and execute timely, creative content around relevant trends to keep social media channels current, engaging, and relevant.
  • Exercise strong editorial judgement when assessing trends and content opportunities.
  • Stay updated on evolving social media platforms, content formats, and audience behaviours.

Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

  • Engage internal divisions to source stories, gather information, and develop content that showcases programmes and community impact.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on content production timelines, deliverables, and requirements.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure content deliverables are completed within agreed schedules.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across stakeholders to ensure smooth content development and production.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in social media content development, digital communications, creative production, or a related field.
  • Strong content creation skills across visual and video formats.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and execute trendjacking opportunities effectively.
  • Good editorial judgement with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools and social media platforms.
  • Good project coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously.
  • Willingness to support occasional weekend work when required for content development needs.
