The posting

Role: Network Engineer (CCNA)

Work Location: Ang Mo Kio

JD:

  • Design, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure using Cisco networking equipment and technologies to support organizational goals
  • Configure and manage routing and switching protocols to ensure seamless network connectivity, performance, and reliability
  • Perform comprehensive network troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve connectivity issues promptly and systematically.
  • Monitor network performance and analyze traffic patterns to optimize network efficiency, capacity planning, and resource allocation
  • Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, access control lists, and VPN configurations in accordance with best practices
  • Document network configurations, changes, and procedures in a clear, organized, and transparent manner for future reference and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders to support network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements
  • Conduct regular network assessments and provide analytical recommendations for system enhancements and optimization
  • Respond to network incidents and provide technical support to resolve issues within established timeframes while maintaining service quality
  • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging networking technologies, and Cisco product innovations
  • Participate in capacity planning initiatives and contribute to strategic network infrastructure decisions
  • Support team members and mentor junior staff in network engineering best practices and troubleshooting methodologies

Qualifications:

**Required Qualifications:**

 Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification

 Minimum 1 years of professional experience in network engineering or network

administration

 Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and network architecture fundamentals

 Hands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching equipment

 Proficiency in LAN/WAN configuration and management

 Solid understanding of network security fundamentals and best practices

 Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot network issues systematically and efficiently

 Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

 Experience with network incident response and management

 Strong time management and prioritization skills

**Preferred Qualifications:**

 Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher-level certification

 Experience with cloud networking platforms and hybrid network environments

 Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools

 Knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) frameworks

 Experience with network automation and scripting

 Familiarity with network design tools and software

 Strong communication and technical writing skills

 Experience with network performance optimization and capacity planning

 Ability to mentor and support junior team members

 Knowledge of emerging networking technologies and industry trends
