Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and provide regular ship position updates.
  • Ensure ship voyages are performed efficiently while keeping operational costs to a minimum.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operational activities and liaise with external parties to ensure smooth commercial operations.
  • Keep clients updated on ship activities, personnel movements, and fleet changes.
  • Support the overall operational requirements of the shipping team.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience coordinating operations within a logistics or shipping environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in ship operations will be an added advantage.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to handle the department's shift phone and work on weekends when required.

Preferred Candidate Profile: Candidates with experience in shipping operations, maritime operations, logistics coordination, vessel operations, or commercial shipping support would be suitable for this role.
