Job Summary

Manage order processing and coordinate logistics to ensure timely delivery of cargo while maintaining compliance with customs regulations and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders, purchasing orders, invoices, delivery orders, and customs permits accurately to support efficient operations
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, transport providers, customers, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate cargo deliveries
  • Prepare and verify customs documentation in compliance with Singapore Customs requirements and company procedures
  • Monitor order status, stock availability, and delivery schedules to proactively follow up on outstanding orders
  • Respond to customer enquiries by providing delivery updates and resolving operational issues promptly
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm product availability, order fulfilment, and delivery arrangements
  • Maintain accurate records and organize operational documents to ensure proper filing and easy retrieval
  • Perform assigned operational and administrative duties to support overall logistics functions

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain, customer service, or administration
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking business associates
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of learning computerized business systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Meticulous and well-organized to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Positive working attitude with responsibility and willingness to learn
  • Flexibility to work an alternate 5.5-day work week
