Job Title: Nightclub Operations & Floor Manager

Occupation / Category: Food & Beverage / Hospitality Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time (Late-Night Shift Rotation)

Role Overview

Lead end-to-end night-shift operations for a high-volume, late-night entertainment venue. This role is responsible for floor command, crowd dynamics, VIP concierge logistics, regulatory compliance under the Singapore Police Force (SPF) Public Entertainment License, and driving premium table yields through a proven commercial client network.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5–7 years of direct floor operations management in a high-capacity (300+ pax) late-night entertainment venue, mega-club, or luxury lounge environment. Proven track record of managing a multidisciplinary frontline crew of at least 25+ floor staff, mixologists, and outsourced security personnel per shift.
  • Commercial & VIP Portfolio: Documented track record of managing high-net-worth (HNW) nightlife/lifestyle client relationships, with demonstrated capability to drive premium table turnover and minimum-spend commitments exceeding $20,000–$35,000+ per operational weekend. Established commercial network across regional lifestyle groups, luxury brand event planners, and corporate hospitality syndicates.
  • Certifications (Mandatory): WSQ Food Safety Course Level 3 (or equivalent Food Hygiene Officer certification). Valid certification in Occupational First Aid, CPR, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Formal training in Crowd Control Management, Dynamic Incident De-escalation, and Venue Crisis Response.
  • Technical & Operational Software Proficiency: Advanced mastery of enterprise nightlife POS and reservation engines (e.g., SevenRooms, Lightspeed, Toast, or Revel). High competency in beverage inventory control and variance ERP software (e.g., MarketMan, Craftable, or BevSpot). Working proficiency with enterprise CCTV monitoring, perimeter access control, and sound/dB monitoring hardware.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Yield & VIP Client Relations

  • Leverage an active commercial network of high-tier corporate clients and private patrons to maximize VIP sofa utilization, presold bottle packages, and table minimum-spend yields during peak operational shifts.
  • Originate and convert private venue buyouts, luxury brand after-parties, and corporate hospitality bookings through personal industry contacts, meeting quarterly revenue benchmarks.
  • Oversee guest profiling, reservation data governance, and proactive engagement to maintain repeat visitation cycles among top-tier spenders while strictly complying with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

2. High-Liability Floor Control & Regulatory Compliance

  • Maintain strict compliance with Singapore statutory authorities, including SPF (Cat 1 Public Entertainment Licence), SCDF (Fire Safety Code & maximum occupant load limits), and NEA (noise pollution/decibel zoning).
  • Formulate and execute immediate tactical responses for patron intoxication, physical altercations, medical emergencies, and dynamic crowd evacuation.
  • Conduct pre-shift operational briefings with security personnel; direct door screening, metal detector protocols, and ID verification procedures to prevent underage entry.

3. Beverage Program & Financial Auditing

  • Conduct daily and weekly high-value liquor reconciliations (auditing variance between POS ring-ins and bottle dispensation) with a required variance tolerance under 1.5%.
  • Analyze weekly pour-cost margins, COGS, and labor-to-revenue ratios; implement operational controls to reduce wastage, spillage, and unauthorized comping.
  • Audit end-of-night float distributions, drop-safe reconciliations, credit card chargeback mitigations, and cash discrepancies.

4. Team Leadership & Service Execution

  • Build dynamic labor rosters matching hourly patron influx patterns and peak ticket volumes while adhering strictly to statutory work-hour limitations.
  • Author and execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) for rapid bottle presentation, barback replenishment cycles, and hygiene audits.
  • Manage high-stakes guest disputes and frontline billing discrepancies with absolute discretion and diplomatic authority.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
