📢 Part-time Food Lab Assistant

  • 💰 $12/hour (approximately $780/month)
  • 📅 1-year contract
  • 🗓️ January–December 2027
  • ⏰ Working Hours:
  1. Normal hours: 7:30am–12:30pm or 8:30am–1:30pm, minimum 3 days per week, without a lunch break.
  2. Examination periods: 8:30am–4:30pm for 10 school days, inclusive of a 45-minute lunch break.
  3. Ad-hoc support may be required during the June, November and December school holidays.
  4. Working hours may vary according to school needs.
  5. No service required on weekends, gazetted public holidays or MOE school holidays.

🎓 Job Requirements

  • Able to communicate in English to support teachers during practical lessons.
  • Experience working in a school as a Food Lab Assistant for Nutrition and Food Science (NFS) is preferred.
  • Responsible and able to maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.

📋 Job Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers with food preparation and practical NFS lessons.
  • Perform daily kitchen cleaning and maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Clean cookers, ovens and sinks, and clean refrigerators weekly.
  • Assist with stocktaking and general kitchen maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Officer or Teacher-in-Charge.
