Job Summary

You will provide professional pet grooming services while ensuring pet safety and welfare, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting showroom operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pet grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and haircuts to meet pet care standards
  • Conduct pre-grooming assessments to evaluate pets’ physical condition, coat quality, and temperament for safe grooming
  • Handle pets safely and humanely throughout grooming to ensure their comfort and well-being
  • Identify and report visible health concerns, injuries, or unusual behaviors observed during grooming to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of grooming tools, equipment, and work areas to comply with company and animal welfare standards
  • Follow company grooming procedures and adhere to applicable animal welfare requirements consistently
  • Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming preferences, service recommendations, and aftercare instructions
  • Manage grooming appointments efficiently to ensure timely completion of services
  • Maintain accurate grooming records and update customer information as required for service tracking
  • Assist with showroom operations and respond to customer inquiries to support overall customer experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Previous experience in pet grooming
  • Relevant pet grooming training or certification
  • Knowledge of animal handling, grooming techniques, and pet welfare practices
  • Patience and attentiveness in handling pets of various sizes and temperaments
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Responsible, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays according to schedule
