Just finished film school or a media course and looking to break into the world of post-production?

We’re looking for driven, detail-obsessed, creatively curious fresh grads to join our growing post team. Whether you’re passionate about editing, audio, colour grading, motion graphics or the rapidly evolving world of AI-assisted production — if you’ve got the spark, we want to meet you.

At editlounge, we work across network shows for major networks and streaming platforms, branded content and more. AI is also becoming an increasingly important part of what we do, from creative development and visual generation to new production and post-production workflows.

You’ll learn the ropes, gain hands-on experience, experiment with emerging technology, and grow alongside experienced mentors who remember exactly what it was like starting out.

What You’ll Be Doing

Depending on your interests and strengths, you’ll be:

  • Assisting editors in assembling footage and prepping timelines
  • Syncing rushes, organising media, and doing basic edits
  • Learning audio cleanup, basic mixing, and voiceover edits
  • Exploring colour correction and prepping grading timelines
  • Experimenting with AI-assisted creative and post-production workflows
  • Learning how generative AI can be used for images, video, voice, concept development and production
  • Testing new AI tools and helping us explore where they can genuinely improve the creative process
  • Supporting the team on real-world projects while building your own reel
  • Getting a front-row seat to the full post-production pipeline — from traditional craft through to emerging AI workflows

What We’re Looking For

  • A recent diploma or degree in film, media, or a related field
  • Basic experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Experience with tools such as After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or Pro Tools is a bonus
  • An interest in AI and emerging creative technology — experience is great, but curiosity is more important
  • A good eye (and ear!) for storytelling, rhythm, and detail
  • A can-do attitude, willingness to learn, and a love for all things post
  • Strong organisational skills — we love a tidy timeline
  • Bonus points for any hands-on experience, freelance gigs, student projects, or experimentation with generative AI tools
