We're Hiring: English Preschool Educator (Maternity Cover)

📍 Location: Jurong East, Singapore 📅 Employment Period: November/December 2026 – April 2027

Do you have a passion for nurturing young minds and creating a positive start to every child's learning journey? We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Beginning Preschool Educator/ Preschool Educator to join our team in Jurong East!

This is a maternity cover position, with the opportunity for conversion to a full-time role, subject to organisational needs and suitability.

Job Scope & Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct engaging, age-appropriate learning activities for children.
  • Implement prepared lesson plans and learning activities to support children's holistic development.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Observe and document children's learning progress and developmental milestones.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and communicate children's progress when required.
  • Maintain classroom cleanliness, safety, and daily routines in accordance with ECDA and school's guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support children's learning and well-being.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a relevant qualification.
  • Hold a valid L2 (LON) certification recognised by ECDA.
  • Passionate about early childhood education and supporting young children's development.
  • Patient, nurturing, responsible, and committed to providing quality care and education.
  • A good team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to commit to the maternity cover period from November/December 2026 to April 2027.
