The posting

Responsibilities

- Deliver high-quality Mandarin lessons and holistic early childhood programmes for children aged 18 months to 6 years old.

- Design age-appropriate Mandarin lesson plans, teaching materials and interactive learning activities.

- Develop children's listening, speaking and early literacy skills through stories, songs, games and thematic learning.

- Maintain a safe, positive and stimulating learning environment.

- Observe children's development and maintain learning portfolios and progress reports.

- Communicate professionally with parents regarding children's learning and development.

- Collaborate with English teachers and other teaching staff on school events, celebrations and thematic programmes.

- Support children's daily routines, well-being and classroom management.

- Comply with ECDA regulations, centre SOPs and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

- Diploma / Degree in Early Childhood Education or another recognised early childhood qualification.

- Minimum 1 year of preschool teaching experience.

- Good understanding of child development and play-based learning.

- Patient, responsible, caring and passionate about working with children.

- ECDA L1/L2 certification is preferred.

- Montessori teaching experience is an advantage.
