We are looking for a passionate and committed Primary Mathematics Teacher to help students strengthen their foundations, develop problem-solving skills and prepare confidently for school assessments and the PSLE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Primary 1 to Primary 6 Mathematics in accordance with the Singapore MOE syllabus.
  • Explain mathematical concepts clearly and engage students through effective teaching methods.
  • Identify students’ learning gaps and provide targeted guidance to improve their understanding.
  • Prepare students for school assessments and the PSLE.
  • Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Participate in curriculum development, lesson planning and the review of teaching materials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain consistent teaching standards and improve learning outcomes.

Requirements

Relevant experience teaching Primary Mathematics in Singapore is preferred.

  • Diploma or degree in Mathematics, Education or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the Singapore MOE Mathematics syllabus and PSLE requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage primary school students.
  • Patient, responsible, organised and committed to students’ learning progress.
  • Open to feedback, teamwork and continuous professional development.
  • Able to work on Sundays and four weekdays according to the centre’s schedule.

Salary, Benefits and Career Development

Competitive remuneration based on experience and suitability, with the option of a fixed base salary or a commission-based remuneration scheme, open for discussion during the interview.

Additional allowance for teachers who commit to working both Saturday and Sunday.

  • Structured in-house curriculum and teaching resources to support lesson preparation.
  • Annual leave of 20 days, increasing with service up to 27 days.
  • Two additional company-provided days off for Chinese New Year’s Eve and Teachers’ Day, subject to company arrangements.
  • Centralised relief support to help arrange class coverage when you are on approved leave or medical leave.
  • Medical benefits, including panel GP services and hospitalisation insurance after probation
  • Eligible teachers that complete one year of service may enjoy flexible start times and work-from-home arrangements on days with only online classes or no classes, subject to operational requirements.

Working Schedule

  • Four weekdays and Sunday.
  • East area placement, with the specific centre to be discussed during the interview.
  • Additional allowance applies to eligible teachers who take on both weekend days.
