Role Summary An international engineering design consultancy is growing its electrical team in Singapore. They need a design lead who can run a team, sign off good work,and be the person clients ask for by name.

What you'll do

  • Lead the electrical design on building projects from concept to handover: power distribution, standby generation, lighting, and security systems
  • Run a team of engineers and technicians, and grow the junior ones
  • Be the electrical lead clients deal with, and bring in repeat work
  • Work closely with mechanical, structural and architectural teams on the same projects
  • Juggle several large projects at once and keep them profitable

What you bring

  • Professional Engineer Electrical) registered with PEB Singapore, or a Chartered Engineer (CEng)
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • 8 or more years at an engineering design consultancy
  • Team management , leadership
  • Confident with clients and with electrical design software

Nice to have

  • Data centre or other mission-critical projects
  • Hospital or healthcare projects
  • Green building or energy-efficient design
