The posting

Operate and monitor daily production, process or plant activities to ensure smooth operation.

  • Support daily shift team operations and carry out operational duties during office hours.
  • Perform cross-functional tasks assigned by engineers and managers.
  • Carry out fieldwork, including maintenance activities, documentation, planning, and project coordination.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with operational needs, established procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Report to the respective line or functional manager based on assigned tasks.
  • Report directly to the Plant Manager when assigned additional duties

Requirements

  • NITEC / Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Science or related field.
  • Candidates with process, production, chemical plant, polymer, manufacturing or operation experience will be advantageous.
  • Able to work in plant, production or manufacturing environment.
  • Willing to perform hands-on work and follow shift arrangements if required.
  • Able to follow SOP, safety procedures and work instructions.
  • Basic troubleshooting, equipment operation or process monitoring knowledge will be an advantage.
  • Responsible, safety-conscious, willing to learn and able to work in a team.
