Role Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead for defect, particle, contamination, and yield-related investigations.
- Develop deep expertise in defect characterization using defect maps, SEM, TEM, EDX, chamber data, and process analytics.
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for customer escalations and field issues.
- Develop and validate process, hardware, and operational improvements to reduce defectivity and improve yield.
- Establish BKMs, troubleshooting guides, defect libraries, and training materials.
- Lead productivity improvement projects focused on chamber stability, matching, uptime, and cost of ownership.
- Collaborate with Engineering, GPS, TPS, Manufacturing, Quality, and Account teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support alpha, beta, and new product introductions through defect risk assessment and qualification activities.
- Mentor engineers and build organizational capability in defect analysis and contamination control.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 7-10 years of related experience
- Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in complex problem solving
