About Us

Strong Olive is a growing community initiative dedicated to supporting young adults (18–45) living with cancer. We design safe spaces, empower lived experiences, and create meaningful programmes that address the psychosocial, emotional, and practical needs of young adults across their cancer journey. As a young start-up, we value creativity, agility, compassion, and a strong commitment to community impact.

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Programme & Case Management Executive who will support young adults with cancer through case management, programme development, and community engagement.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys people-facing work, is able to multi-task, and thrives in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Case Management & Client Support

  • Provide direct psychosocial support to young adults with cancer.
  • Conduct needs assessments and ongoing follow-ups.
  • Develop personalised case management plans and track progress.
  • Coordinate referrals to the community or healthcare services as needed.
  • Maintain proper documentation, case notes, and confidentiality in line with organisational and sector standards.

2. Programme Development & Facilitation

  • Co-develop and run community programmes and events for different segments of our client group
  • Build youth-friendly, engaging, and evidence-informed programme content.
  • Support programme evaluation, data collection, and reporting.
  • Assist in volunteer coordination during programmes.

3. Community Engagement & Stakeholder Relations

  • Represent the organisation at outreach events, hospital fairs, and community sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, social workers, counsellors, and programme partners.
  • Support communications (e.g., WhatsApp Groups, IG/TikTok content input, outreach materials) where needed.

4. Internal Operations & Start-Up Support

  • Support organisational logistics, administration, and ad-hoc tasks within a small founding team.
  • Contribute ideas to improve systems, workflow, and programme quality.

Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Community Development, Youth Work, Public Health, or related fields.
  • Prior experience with youth work, health-related support, oncology, or community social services is advantageous.
  • Fresh graduates with strong passion and relevant internships will be considered.
  • Mid-career professionals with relevant and related certifications in social service will be considered.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong ability to connect with young adults, especially those navigating major life changes.
  • Comfortable handling casework, crisis support, and multi-stakeholder communication.
  • Good presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities; able to work with some ambiguity.
  • Empathetic, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive.
  • Good writing and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable with both independent work and teamwork in a small, mission-driven start-up environment.

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to be part of a founding team in a growing young adult cancer movement.
  • Meaningful impact on the lives of young adults and their families.
  • Supportive environment that values learning, creativity, and growth.
  • Training opportunities in oncology care, youth engagement, trauma-informed practice, and programme design.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.

What if my background isn't good enough?

We make the most of the background you have. The CV uses every piece of relevant proof your profile holds, and one of the 25 readers reads your whole profile and flags what the CV left out.

Do you really apply for me?

Yes, on the employer's own form, the hardest ones included. Where a question needs you, you answer it right there and AI suggests the best answer. Don't want us applying from our IP addresses? Use our Chrome extension: we apply straight from your own browser.

Is it a subscription?
