About =DREAMS
=DREAMS is a first-of-its-kind initiative offering a weekday boarding programme for children from under-resourced families, mostly living in rental flats or on financial assistance schemes. We provide comprehensive academic and holistic enrichment support to help these children break out of poverty, do well in studies and in life, and carry their families towards a better future. About the Role
As Programme Executive, you will deliver our academic and Future of Work (FoW) programmes for scholars and run the programme operations behind them. The role offers holistic breadth across the scholarship journey: academic support, future-of-work exposure, scholar engagement, partner coordination, programme operations and impact evaluation. The work is fast-moving and diverse. You will work alongside Senior Executives, who oversee partnerships and the quality of tutors and programmes, and grow through their mentoring.
The scholarship journey already has key milestones and activities in place. You will refine and strengthen them each cycle and have the opportunity to anchor the design of up to one Academic and one Future of Work programme.
Work hours: Monday to Thursday, 1pm to 9.30pm; Friday, 10am to 5pm; and at times on weekends. Key Responsibilities
1. Diagnose and Design
• Analyse attendance, feedback and check-ins with the Scholar Development team to identify gaps in scholars' needs, and recommend changes to the Senior Executive / Director.
• Refine existing programmes each cycle, drawing on what worked and what did not, across academic support (e.g. tuition, academic mentoring, study buddy, boot camps) and Future of Work (e.g. interest groups, learning journeys, community days, internships, mock interviews, signature events).
• Anchor the design of a Academic and a Future of Work activity, working with the Senior Executive.
2. Planning
• Prepare project plans, timelines and run-of-show for programmes and events, maintain the programme calendar and draft the termly notices.
• Coordinate and brief the tutors, mentors, volunteers and industry partners engaged by the Senior Executives, so they understand the needs of the scholars.
• Manage day-to-day coordination with employers, institutions and schools, working with the Senior Executive who leads these relationships.
• Arrange venues, transport, catering and materials, seeking cost-effective options.
• Build consent, supervision and safeguarding arrangements into plans for off-site activities such as learning journeys and internships.
3. Implementation and Monitoring
• Deliver Academic and Future of Work programmes (e.g. study buddy, boot camps, interest groups, learning journeys, community days, mock interviews, public speaking, post-secondary pathway conversations) and lead flagship events such as dinner engagements from concept to closure.
• Build rapport with scholars, motivate their participation, and work with the Scholar Development team to align programmes with each scholar's development.
• Record attendance, engagement and discipline for every programme (attended, attended virtually, absent).
• Identify scholars who are not engaging and work with the Scholar Development team to understand and address the barriers.
• Give on-day updates (e.g. via messaging groups) and pre- and post-programme emails so scholars, parents and volunteers have clarity on logistics, follow-up and closure.
• Guide tutors, mentors and volunteers on the day, and raise quality concerns with the Senior Executive.
• Create safe, accessible and inclusive spaces for learning and growth.
4. Evaluation
• Collect feedback through surveys and verbal check-ins, using consistent measures so results can be compared across programmes.
• Compile attendance, retention, satisfaction and feedback data, and prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to impact evaluation alongside the Senior Executives, building your evaluation skills over time.
5. Administration, Budget and Governance
• Track programme spending against budget, coordinate procurement, and support vendor and volunteer resourcing.
• Maintain accurate records of programme activities, partners and outcomes, and prepare programme materials and presentations.
• Safeguard scholars' personal data, including attendance, academic results and feedback, in line with data protection requirements.
• Ensure programme activities comply with relevant regulations and policies.
• Identify risks to programme success, especially those affecting the well-being of youth, and escalate them promptly.
• Improve processes and communication between the scholars, families, Programmes, Residential and Scholar Development team.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. psychology, community development, education) or equivalent work experience.
2. About 2 years' experience in programme facilitation, design and evaluation, preferably with youth from lower-income backgrounds.
3. Highly organised, with strong time-management and attention to detail, able to manage multiple programmes and deadlines.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity.
5. Experience tracking and reporting programme data (e.g. attendance, retention, satisfaction, feedback)using spreadsheets, forms and survey tools.
6. Able to build and maintain working relationships with tutors, volunteers, employers and schools.
7. Able to work independently on assigned programmes and collaboratively in a diverse team, with initiative and a willingness to learn.
