Founded in 1998, HOPE worldwide Singapore (HOPEwwS) is an IPC charity providing impactful family life and health education programmes for families, youths, and elderly. We partner with MSF, NCSS, churches, donors, volunteers, and community groups to support disadvantaged individuals in Singapore.
Job Summary
You will drive programme development, partnership management, and fundraising by cultivating strong relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners to deliver impactful community services and sustainable fundraising outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage donor prospects to build and maintain long-term partnerships with sponsors and community stakeholders
- Provide strategic input to craft compelling messaging angles and approaches for fundraising appeals
- Plan, implement, and manage fundraising activities to meet or exceed set engagement and revenue objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance fundraising initiatives across multiple channels, including social media platforms
- Analyse fundraising performance data and prepare regular reports to monitor results and identify improvement opportunities
- Research and apply current fundraising trends and best practices to continuously refine strategies and tactics
- Assess community needs and service gaps to design and organise targeted outreach programmes and services
- Develop and execute volunteer recruitment and retention strategies to build a committed volunteer base
- Establish and nurture partnerships with community social service agencies and relevant stakeholders
- Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness, compiling data and providing timely updates for reporting and submissions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related fields
- Experience in fundraising, partnerships, community engagement, or programme coordination
- Strong interpersonal, networking, and relationship management skills demonstrated through stakeholder engagement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills applied in donor and partner interactions
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for community work and genuine interest in engaging donors, volunteers, and partners
