Job Description

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Construction of Buildings
  • Position Title: Project Engineer
  • Working Location: Ubi Avenue
  • Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon – Fri: 8.30am – 6pm, Sat: 8.30am – 1pm)
  • Salary Package: Basic + AWS + VB
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from award to completion and handover.
  • Review drawings, specifications, BOQs and project requirements.
  • Prepare project schedules and monitor progress.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and site teams.
  • Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements and material submissions.
  • Resolve technical, site coordination and installation issues.
  • Supervise site works and ensure quality, safety and schedule requirements are met.
  • Plan manpower, materials, tools and subcontractor resources.
  • Coordinate material procurement, delivery and usage.
  • Monitor project costs, variations and additional works.
  • Support progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections and handover documentation.
  • Provide regular project updates to management.

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant project engineering experience in electrical, M&E or construction is preferred.
  • Candidates with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered for a junior role.
  • Able to read electrical, architectural, structural and M&E drawings.
  • Familiar with shop drawings, method statements and technical submissions.
  • Good understanding of construction site operations.
  • Good coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • AutoCAD/BIM knowledge and Class 3 driving license are advantageous.
