We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead cross-functional initiatives that ensure the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will serve as a vital link between internal teams and external customers, ensuring seamless communication, effective problem-solving, and customer satisfaction.

Job Description:

  • Lead and manage new product development projects from concept initiation through design, validation, and trial manufacturing, ensuring timely delivery in accordance with project objectives
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure effective execution and completion of project deliverables
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales and Marketing, to achieve project targets for quality, cost, and delivery
  • Lead project discussions with customers to understand product requirements, clarify technical specifications, manage expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers on project-related matters, providing regular progress updates and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing and Engineering teams to prepare comprehensive new product quotation packages, including technical requirements, cost estimates, and project timelines
  • Present and negotiate quotation packages with customers to align technical solutions, commercial terms, cost targets, and delivery expectations
  • Lead and coordinate design and engineering teams across Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, and Software disciplines to ensure product designs meet customer requirements and manufacturing feasibility
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved
  • Work closely with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Quality teams to support design validation, production readiness, and a smooth transition from development to trial manufacturing
  • Prepare regular project status reports for management, highlighting progress, resource requirements, cost implications, risks, and critical issues requiring escalation
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes, cross-functional collaboration, and product development efficiency

JobRequirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Diploma with at least 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing new product development or NPI projects from concept through trial manufacturing
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading design or engineering teams in Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, or Software disciplines
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects involving Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, and other relevant departments
  • Strong understanding of product development processes, design validation, manufacturing requirements, and production readiness
  • Experience in customer relationship management, technical discussions, quotation preparation, and commercial negotiations
  • Strong project planning, coordination, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under pressure and tight project timelines
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing project requirements
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management experience will be an added advantage
  • Willingness to work overtime when required to meet project deadlines and business needs
