Key Responsibilities
- Manage or support the management of façade projects from project award through design development, production, installation, handover, and defect liability period.
- Plan and coordinate project schedules, procurement, production, logistics, subcontractors, and site installation activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, main contractors, suppliers, factories, and internal teams throughout project execution.
- Coordinate shop drawings, material and sample submissions, mock-ups, method statements, and other technical submissions to ensure timely approvals.
- Work closely with drafting, engineering, production, procurement, logistics, and site teams to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor site progress, installation quality, safety, sequencing, and interfaces, and assist in resolving technical and site issues.
- Manage project documentation, including progress claims, variation orders (VOs), procurement, cost control, project reporting, and completion documentation.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, defects rectification, and final project handover.
- Support tender interviews, technical presentations, value engineering, and pre-award planning where required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in façade, curtain wall, cladding, glazing, or related specialist construction projects.
- Good understanding of façade systems, materials, fabrication, installation methods, interfaces, and site coordination.
- Experience coordinating shop drawings, technical submissions, production, logistics, and installation works.
- Able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and façade drawings and specifications.
- Good understanding of project planning, procurement, subcontractor coordination, progress claims, and variation orders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or Microsoft Project is an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects and travel locally or overseas when required.
