Job Description
- Manage and coordinate AEI and/or greenfield development projects from planning through to completion, including design, procurement, construction, handover and close-out stages.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication, timely decision-making and proper execution of project requirements.
- Prepare, maintain and manage key project documentation, including Project Execution Plans, meeting agendas, minutes of meetings, action trackers, issue logs, change control logs, variation trackers, cost plans, defect trackers, safety inspection records, progress reports and project close-out documentation.
- Ensure all project documentation is properly maintained, updated and uploaded to the approved project document repository in accordance with reporting and governance requirements.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, costs, deliverables and dependencies, and proactively highlight delays, risks, cost variances and other issues requiring management attention.
- Prepare regular project status reports, including updates on progress, key milestones, issues, risks, cost position, variations, safety matters and required follow-up actions.
- Attend and support all relevant project meetings, including design meetings, consultant meetings, contractor meetings, site meetings and internal project update meetings.
- Support project financial management and cost control, including review of cost plans, monitoring of project expenditure, variance reporting, analysis of cost movements, and tracking of approved budgets and variations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, workmanship, site coordination, safety practices and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
- Work with consultants and contractors to identify potential efficiencies in scheduling, sequencing and work processes, without compromising quality, safety or regulatory compliance.
- Ensure appropriate project governance, reporting, communication protocols and approval processes are implemented and aligned with management’s requirements.
- Monitor compliance with applicable workplace safety and health requirements, agreed method statements, statutory regulations, project procedures and company standards.
- Support the identification, monitoring and mitigation of project risks, including programme, cost, safety, quality, operational and stakeholder-related risks.
- Assist with project handover, defects management ,completion documentation and post-completion follow-up matters.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience in construction, engineering, real estate development, asset enhancement, or building upgrading projects.
- Hands-on experience in AEI, redevelopment, greenfield development, commercial, industrial or business park projects would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of project management processes, construction sequencing, consultant coordination, authority submissions, site management, cost control and contract administration.
- Familiarity with Singapore building regulations, workplace safety and health requirements, and local construction practices would be preferred.
- Strong coordination, communication, documentation and reporting skills.
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders, follow through on issues, and work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools. Familiarity with Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, BIM or document management systems would be an advantage.
