RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee Greater China-focused production partnerships, co-productions and assigned set construction projects that strengthen Content Group's access to reliable production capabilities, specialist expertise and cost-effective solutions. The role is accountable for end-to-end project planning, stakeholder alignment, vendor coordination, risk management and timely delivery to agreed quality, budget and production requirements. This is a Singapore-based role.
Greater China partnerships and capability development
- Build and maintain a qualified network of China-based production partners, vendors and creative and technical professionals to improve access to production resources, specialist expertise, competitive solutions and reliable delivery.
- Identify, assess and recommend production and post-production resources, including editors, colourists, digital artists and other specialist capabilities, based on quality, capacity, cost, reliability and fit with production needs.
- The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to assess partners and build trusted relationships.
Co-production project management
- Lead assigned China co-productions from planning through completion, establishing project requirements, workplans, milestones, budgets, responsibilities, governance and acceptance criteria.
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between Content Group and China-based partners, driving alignment, clear communication, issue resolution and timely decisions across internal and external stakeholders.
Set construction technical expertise
- Lead assigned set construction projects from design confirmation through installation and handover, translating approved designs into clear material, construction, schedule and site requirements.
- Source and evaluate suitable materials, finishes, construction solutions and vendor quotations in collaboration with Set Designers, Technical Specialists, Procurement and administrative teams.
- Manage vendor deliverables, schedules, costs, quality and approved changes; oversee onsite set-up and installation to ensure conformity with approved designs and agreed acceptance criteria.
Commercial, risk and governance
- Track project budgets, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues; maintain accurate project records and provide timely status reporting and escalation.
- Ensure projects comply with internal procurement, contracting, finance, confidentiality, intellectual-property, production and workplace safety requirements, in consultation with the relevant specialist teams.
- Review partner and vendor performance after delivery and implement improvements that strengthen quality, cost effectiveness, responsiveness and future collaboration.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or diploma in Media Production, Film, Project Management, Business or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in production, creative operations and project management, including demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Experience sourcing, evaluating or managing production, creative or technical partners in China is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing project budgets, vendor quotations, schedules, risks, changes and deliverables.
- Experience in set construction, creative fabrication or production design delivery is advantageous.
- Working proficiency in Mandarin is required to conduct business discussions and manage written communications with stakeholders in China.
