The posting

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027 Location: Seng Kang Salary: $1400/Month

Working Hours:

  • Mondays to Fridays: 7:30am to 1:30pm, including a 1-hour lunch break
  • You may be needed on an ad-hoc basis for E2K Science
  • You may be needed during school holidays
  • No work on PSLE Oral, Listening Comprehension and marking days
  • No work on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare apparatus and set-ups, and help teachers during Science experiments in the lab or classroom
  • Carry out a stocktake twice a year (mid-year and end of year)
  • Keep the Science Laboratory clean and tidy
  • Look after the Science Corners: Spices & Herbs, Cactus & Fernery, Hydroponics and the Vertical Garden
  • Help with harvesting and transplanting at the hydroponics and vertical garden
  • Help teachers with Science activities during recess
  • Help with the recycling programme on Thursdays during recess

Job Requirements

  • Excellent team player who is organised, meticulous and able to multi-task
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Preferably proficient in MS Office
  • Preferably with working experience in a school laboratory
